I have lived in the Northshore for several years, and as a New York "Transplant" I commuted to Boston for shopping and any specialized high end hair and spa services I needed. For years, I went to a talented hair stylist on Newbury street and a well known Newbury Day Spa for my skincare and spa services. I was pleasantly surprised when a friend recommended I visit Indra Salon and more specifically, see Nicole for brow shaping and placement of eyelash extensions. Upon meeting Nicole, I found her to be very knowledgeable and remarkably skilled in her trade. She immediately gave me her opinions as to what she thought would best suit my aesthetic needs, and I have to say, she was dead on with all her recommendations ( ie. skin care and which products to use, brow shaping, and type of eyelash extensions). Now, almost two years later, I strictly have all skin and various aesthetic services provided by Nicole at Indra Salon and have recommended her to many of my friends and professional collegues. As a businessowner myself, I understand the importance of customer service, client satisfaction, and professionalism... and I can say, without any reservations, Nicole embodies all these qualities and delivers them with a beautiful smile!! I had written a few reviews for Indra, one favorable and one not so favorable...I'm so glad the owner, April, followed up with me. Firstly, my hair hasn't looked that great since I stopped going to Rebecca. Secondly, I missed Rebecca and the salon. Though I have never had anything but great things to say about my hair stylist, there was a misunderstanding regarding a price my friend was to receive. April more than made up for this, not only was she professional but she had the courage to call and ask "how can we make things better?" My friend was taken care of and I am back to seeing my favorite hairdresser. Seriously, the salon is loaded with talent and I have never met anyone who takes more time with me or cares more about how satisfied I am. Rebecca is truly among the best!
Pros: a talented crew who are proactive in keeping up with trends while individualizing a client's personal style
